Home Minister off to Sri Lanka to attend SAARC- level meet

Kathmandu: Home Minister Janardan Sharma left here for Sri Lanka today to take part in the home minister-level SARRC meeting.
Talking to media persons at Tribhuvan International Airport ( TIA) before flying to Colombo, Minister Sharma said the meeting would hold discussions on challenges of SAARC and relations among the SAARC nations.
Discussion on effectiveness in crime control efforts is one of the parts of the meeting which will also touch on the issues relating to drug smuggling and terrorism, according to him. During his three-day trip, the Home Minister will have a meeting with his Sri Lankan counterpart Vajira Abeywardena.
On a different note, the Home Minister expressed his hope that the Electoral Constituency Delineation Commission would be formed soon. The Minister is accompanied by Home Secretary Lok Darshan Regmi and Spokesperson for Ministry, Deepak Kafle.
