Coordination between private and govt sector for industrial development stressed

Biratnagar: Minister for Supplies, Shiva Kumar Mandal, has underscored the need for a close coordination between the government and private sector to promote and propagate industries in the country.
Speaking at the 45th anniversary of Chamber of Industries (CoI), Morang at Biratnagar today, Minister Mandal shared that the government has mulled revamping and re-operating the industries that are historical and are either defunct or sick.
Stating that the major responsibility of the incumbent government is to enforce the new constitution, Yadav argued that the political parties in the country should be concerned about institutionalizing the national charter than lose and win in the upcoming elections.
On the occasion, parliamentarian and President of CoI, Morang Pawan Sharada drew the attention of the Minister Mandal towards taking against the Nepal Oil Corporation for selling less weighted LPG cylinders.
On the occasion, Minister Mandal honoured Somnath Adhikari, Ballav Prasad Adhikari and Yagyaraj Koirala for their significant roles in providing two bighas of temple-owned land on lease for the CoI, Morang to build exhibition hall.
Somnath is the Director-General of CoI, Morang while Ballav Prasad Adhikari is the Chairperson of Satya Narayan Temple Management Board and Yagyaraj the Chief District Officer of Morang district.
