Mr. Chatur Tamang who is from Kaku, Solukhumbu is going to climb Mt. Everest for the fifth time. He is going to climb Everest from Trek and Expedition team in 2019. On April 8, He left Lukla for Everest base camp for the occasion. Mr. Tamang who had successfully reached the summit of the Everest in 2012 for the first time had already reached the summit of the Everest for the fourth time including in the years 2016,2017 and 2018.
Mr. Tamang who had started climbing Everest from 1998 had successfully climbed almost all the popular national and international mountains. He added he had climbed Mt. kanchanjanga, Mt. Amadablam, Mt Lotse, Mt. Choyu and Mt. Baruntse. Due to deep aspiration and love to snow and mountains he had adopted mountaineering profession commercially. Tamang also mentioned in his facebook account that he had already climbed Mt. Annapurna, Mt Mera peak, Mt Island Peak etc successfully . Tamang added he had climbed Mt. Mera peak for 16 times and Island Peak for 12 times. Tamang’s aim is also to reached the summit of the mountains in the other seasons rather than the climbing seasons.
Mr. Tamang had spend half of his life time in Himalayas by climbing mountains and willing to spend rest of his life in doing the same. Tamang had also successfully reached the summit of international mountains like Mt. Kilimanjaro & Mt. Elbrus 5642m. He claimed that he had successfully reached in the summit of Mt. Elbrus for 57 times which includes climbing in both climbing and non climbing seasons. Mr. Tamang who is in deep affection with mountains had the record of successful climbing of the Mt. Everest and Mt. Loste in the single season. He feels proud to be called as mountaineer but due to less importance shown by government for the mountaineers, Tamang depicted his concern.
